The museum's aim to highlight the most significant features of the
Barbagia Carnival along with respect of traditional Carnivals in other
countries of the Mediterranean area, thanks to the possibility of
contacts and exchange with other museums, cultural institutions working
in this field.
Inside the museum, a computerised communication desk
allows access to information about the Mediterranean Carnival, its
manifestations and its meanings.
